How to center text in wordpress

Why does wordpress make it so difficult to center text?? It's such a simple function and everyone wants to do it.

    Thanks! Actually, that was hard. Lol. We used to be able to center using < center > wording < /center >(Minus the spaces between the word center, stupid post rules). Which is much simpler than writing all that out for every single thing we want to center. But I digress, I'm very glad I found your post!
